Seeds of Praise

Psalm 47:1  Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!  Shout to God with the voice of triumph!

July has come and gone in the blink of an eye, but what a blessed month it has been!
Over the past three weeks, we have experienced deep, life-giving teaching and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit through worship and the ministry of His Word. We pray this brief reflection encourages you as much as it encouraged those who were here:
1st Week:
  • Edwin Felice – explained how Abram’s father was an idol maker. People would name their Grandchildren after foreign gods. Each day we create new gods we become like the Babylonians’. We must look to God in trials and He will help us get out from under our burdens.
  • Dr. Justin Elwell – told us how we must require guidance from the Holy Spirit because we’re quick to stray. We don’t need to make our way, but to be imitators of Christ!
2nd Week:
  • Dr. Lynn Lucas – encouraged us with the verses where God told Moses: “I have plans for you.” We must realize that God has plans for each one and that He is here right now!
  • Pastor Steve Edlin – taught that we must pursue and let God change us! We must build margins and not let others wear us out. Don’t get worn out – put up boundaries. Get a word from the Holy Spirit!
3rd Week:
  • Eagles Wings Ministry – Bishop Robert Sterns gave an inspiring message from Ex.25 explaining how God called for 12 spies – each representing their tribe. Ten spies gave a bad report and 2 gave a positive report. We must NOT presume the majority is correct!
As we step into August, we are filled with anticipation for all that God will continue to do. Thousands of guests from across the nation and around the world will gather here to seek His presence, hear His voice, and be transformed by His Spirit.

Would you join us in prayer? Pray that every heart would be open to receive God’s Word, that lives would be changed, that families would be strengthened, and that every person who comes to Blue Mountain would encounter the living presence of Jesus. We believe God is faithful to answer those who earnestly seek Him.
